Her mission is to inspire and empower every child and educator through the power of words and story—building a bridge that connects learning to confidence, curiosity, and purpose. She has served as a classroom teacher, S.T.A.R. Mentor, Elementary Literacy Coordinator, and currently as a Gifted and Talented teacher in the Cherry Creek School District, where she supports neurodiverse learners across content areas. Elizabeth holds a Colorado Endorsement in Gifted Education and is a Fellow of the Denver Writing Project. Known by her students as “Maloney”—and affectionately as the “Caffeinated Boredom-Squasher”—she brings energy, humor, and high expectations into every learning space. Her work is grounded in collaboration with parents, teachers, and students, always centering the whole child. She believes critical thinking should be a daily thread in every classroom, and that communication, listening, and valuing multiple perspectives are essential.
